Flat Lay Images

Flat lay images are unique, instead of taking pictures of things from a horizontal angle, you are now shooting things from a straight upwards angle. This creates the effect of almost looking at posters on a wall, instead its actually items on the floor. One tip that I recommend is when choosing items to include in your flat lay image is that you should choose items that are appealing from the top to look at. For example the hour glass in the image below might look cool on standing up, but if you lay it down for a flat lay image it ruins the purpose/effect almost of the hour glass.
